Abstract

This article reviews minimally invasive approaches for myomectomy, focusing on the comparison between laparoscopic and robotic techniques. Articles were selected from PubMed, Scopus, and Embase databases using the descriptors robotic myomectomy, laparoscopic myomectomy, minimally invasive techniques. The review included recent studies evaluating the efficacy, safety, reproductive outcomes, and economic impact of these techniques. The findings indicate that robotic myomectomy offers greater surgical precision and lower risk of intraoperative complications, making it particularly suitable for complex cases. Conversely, laparoscopy remains widely used due to its proven effectiveness, lower cost, and broader availability. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of tailoring the choice of technique based on factors such as fibroid characteristics, surgeon expertise, and patient preferences to optimize clinical and reproductive outcomes.
