Abstract
This article aims to conduct a literature review on the advancements in the treatment of psychiatric disorders associated with hormonal dysfunctions, with an emphasis on management strategies and therapeutic interventions. To achieve this, the search engines PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science were used, with the keywords "Psychiatric disorders, Hormonal dysfunctions, Management, Therapeutic strategies." The review revealed that, in recent years, there have been significant advances in understanding the interaction between hormones and psychiatric disorders, which has led to more effective treatment approaches. Among these approaches, the use of hormone replacement therapies, such as the administration of estrogen, testosterone, and thyroid hormones, stands out, as well as the use of hormonal modulators aimed at restoring endocrine balance and improving psychiatric symptoms.
