Abstract
The context of humanized childbirth encompasses more than just welcoming the mother in this unique phase, and also involves motivating the woman's autonomy. Nurses are contributors to this process, promoting safety and quality care during home births. The objective is to analyze the contribution of nursing to humanized home childbirth. This is a systematic and qualitative literature review, carried out using scientific articles published between 2019 and 2024, in specific databases: SCIELO.Org, LILACS.Org, Virtual Health Library (BVS) and Google Scholar, applying the descriptors: “nurse”, “humanized childbirth”, “home childbirth”. The aim is to highlight the contributing measures of nurses in humanized childbirth at home, reiterating the relevance of training and related knowledge. Childbirth represents a unique and magical phase in a woman's life, representing the anxieties and anxieties related to pregnancy and the birth of a child. The nurse's contribution is essential at this time, through the assignment of technical skills, meeting physiological, emotional and psychological needs; in addition to responding to possible complications.
