Abstract

This article aims to carry out an analysis of dengue epidemiological data in Southeast Brazil from 2019 to 2024 using the DATASUS platform. Factors were used to filter the data such as: notification year, race, age group and sex to obtain the result. The state of São Paulo has the highest population density, with the majority of the population being white, being the state and race most affected by dengue disease. The age group of 20 to 39 years is the most affected by dengue in the Southeast, with women reporting more cases. The pandemic reduced notifications between 2019 and 2021. It is concluded that it is crucial to improve data collection and training of health professionals to prevent and diagnose early, in addition to promoting new studies on the disease.
