Abstract

For patients with severe bone and tooth resorption problems, maxillary sinus floor lengthening and bone grafting can be reliable options. There are many different surgical techniques and materials, as well as different techniques used to enlarge the sinuses, and many variables can change the outcome of the surgery. Some of these are one-time or long-term admissions. Sinus elevation is described as a mild to moderate elective surgery, with immediate implant placement being the most commonly performed restoration method. Although sinus lift is not a very complicated procedure and is a commonly performed procedure in implant dentistry, it is important to pay as much attention as possible to the anatomical aspects to avoid complications during or after the surgery.
