Abstract

This article aims to raise awareness about the difficulty of differentiating between Crohn's Disease and Tuberculosis, as well as the impacts of this impasse on clinical daily life. This is an integrative review based on an online database that provided free articles, dated between 2019 and 2023, in Portuguese, Spanish and English that corresponded to the delimited theme. It is concluded that despite the difficulties in consolidating protocols, the histological study has been the bet for diagnostic optimization, as well as policies for TB eradication have impacted the prognosis of patients.
