Resumo
Este artigo revisa a literatura atual sobre as inovações no tratamento cirúrgico da hiperplasia prostática benigna, com foco nas técnicas a laser e seus benefícios clínicos. A seleção dos artigos foi realizada utilizando a base de dados PubMed e os descritores “Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia”, “Laser Surgery” e “Clinical Outcomes”. A revisão incluiu estudos recentes que exploram a eficácia, segurança e impacto de técnicas como a enucleação prostática a laser de holmio (HoLEP) e a vaporização fotoseletiva da próstata (PVP). A conclusão destaca que essas abordagens minimamente invasivas proporcionam menores taxas de complicações, recuperação mais rápida e melhores resultados funcionais, consolidando seu papel como padrão de cuidado no manejo da hiperplasia prostática benigna.
