Resumo
Introducción: Las fracturas de radio afectan significativamente las actividades diarias del paciente debido al dolor. El manejo del dolor es crucial para la recuperación funcional. Objetivo: Esta revisión evalúa la eficacia y seguridad del bloqueo radial guiado por ecografía en fracturas de radio. Metodología: Se realizó una búsqueda de literatura desde 2014 a 2023 en bases de datos como PubMed. Se seleccionaron estudios clínicos y reseñas pertinentes. Resultados: El nervio radial, derivado del plexo braquial, puede bloquearse eficientemente con ecografía, permitiendo una precisa aplicación de anestesia y reduciendo significativamente el dolor. Discusión: Las técnicas guiadas por ecografía ofrecen un manejo del dolor más preciso comparado con métodos tradicionales, los cuales carecen de precisión debido a la variabilidad anatómica. Conclusión: Se recomienda el bloqueo del nervio radial guiado por ecografía para reducir el dolor y mejorar la recuperación en fracturas de radio, ofreciendo mayor precisión y seguridad en comparación con métodos tradicionales.
