Resumo
Este artigo tem por objetivo realizar uma varredura da literatura médica vigente sobre a relação do uso de Cannabidiol (CBD) no tratamento de dor crônica. Foram utilizados como motores de busca os indexadores Google Scholar, Pubmed e Scielo para seleção dos artigos, através das palavas-chave “Cannabidiol, CBD, dor crônica”. Conclui-se que o uso de canabinoides possui grandes benefícios no tratamento de dor crônica, os pacientes que realizaram o tratamento com o CBD apresentaram uma redução na modulação da dor, assim como houve uma diminuição no uso de opióides e AINES, quando comparados a pacientes que realizaram o tratamento com o uso de analgésicos habituais. Contudo, é uma terapia recente que ainda precisa de mais estudos para chegar a um consenso de tratamento eficiente para esta síndrome que afeta a qualidade de vida de muitas pessoas.
