Resumo
Este artigo oferece uma revisão abrangente das estratégias de prevenção e tratamento da obesidade, enfocando as perspectivas clínicas. A introdução destaca a obesidade como uma preocupação crescente de saúde pública, abordando a complexidade de seus fatores contribuintes. A metodologia incluiu uma estratégia de busca sistemática em bases de dados eletrônicas, com critérios de inclusão e exclusão bem definidos. Os resultados foram agrupados em quatro categorias principais: intervenções dietéticas e atividade física; terapias farmacológicas; cirurgia bariátrica; e abordagens comportamentais e psicológicas. Cada categoria foi analisada quanto à sua eficácia e desafios. A discussão abordou as implicações dos resultados, enfatizando a necessidade de abordagens multifacetadas e individualizadas, além de destacar limitações e recomendações para pesquisas futuras. A conclusão resumiu as principais descobertas, salientando que o tratamento eficaz da obesidade requer uma combinação de várias estratégias, adaptadas às necessidades individuais. Este estudo destaca a importância da integração de diferentes abordagens para o manejo eficaz da obesidade.
